Also commonly known as ‘Deep Tissue’ massage, this is an intensive form of massage that uses firm pressure to affect deeper muscle layers, often to address specific problem areas.

This form of massage does not aim for relaxation as its primary objective, and may be uncomfortable at times, or leave some residual soreness afterwards. That said, it would suit people who prefer a stronger form of massage.

In the cases of physical injury or intense pain, we recommend consulting a Physician or Osteopath before undergoing Remedial massage. We offer free postural assessments by an Osteopath, please ask at Reception for details.
